James Vega is being voiced by Freddie Prinze Jr.
Accolades to those who guess this already. Also, more good news for Vega fans, there's a character spotlight for him from GameTrailers. Be sure to check it out. And for the people who are still either "meh" or on the fence about Vega, check it out anyway.
There are some slight spoilers in the clips seen. Nothing ground-breaking and certainly nothing people haven't already deduced from ME2.
Thank goodness for YouTube mirrors. www.youtube.com/watch?v=SqxCaM…
Next, we have the GT.TV special on Mass Effect 3. Now, some of this people may have already seen, but this also shows a ton of new footage. And some of which people will definitely regard as spoilers. A main story mission from early in the game is discussed and some clues are given regarding the main plot. I only watched pieces of a third of it, myself. For those of you who want to brave the spoilers, here are the videos:

www.youtube.com/watch?v=jraNo7…
The videos are from the Bioware Russia YouTube channel, note the subtitles. The reason I did not link to non-subtitled versions was because I couldn't find any that might not be taken down due to copyright issues.
Now, if you do watch these, I'd ask you to refrain from posting any spoilery comments in the comments section in respect to others.

Were you to ask me; I think James Vega has promise. There's people who rag on the human squadmates for being boring, but I think there's a appeal in the mostly grounded-nature of the human characters. Especially ones like Jacob and Ashley. They keep the story tethered to a more relatable level than if all the squad were flashy aliens or veritable superheroes like Miranda and Jack.
What has me the most excited in the JV video is the boxing-scene. Mass Effect 2 had characters walking about the room with conversations, and that was really engaging. But this seems to indicate Shepard and whatever character or characters you'll be socializing with will be 'hanging out' as it were, rather than solely conversing.
But what got my heart literally beating faster was the music I heard at 1:53-2:04 in Part 1 of the ME3 GT.TV demo. www.youtube.com/watch?v=_B6Sa3…
Maaaaannnnnnn...
Oh yeah; screenshots.
