How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Bronies go nuts, and Nintendo Sucks?Equestria Girls
The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Well, first of all, let me bring to your attention the newest, and most likely the last, trailer for Mass Effect 3; the live action "Fight" trailer.

I've seen a lot of good live action trailers, the "We Are ODST" and "Deliver Hope trailers from the Halo promotional machine, as well as the live action Skyrim trailer from last year. This one is definitely one of the good ones.

Now, as to this next thing, I honestly didn't know how to react when it landed on my desk.

Picture it; a Mass Effect 3 comic released from --what I hear to be-- a legitimate source in Japan outlining the basics of the Mass Effect series and Mass Effect 3, focusing on Tali and Liara as schoolgirls at the "Citadel High School".

I kid you not. And before you ask; no, tentacles are not involved in any way.

This is not meant to be taken seriously in any way shape or form. It's supposed to be funny, which it is, frankly. Still...

One of my friends summed it up nicely "[It's] funny, mostly because of the absurdity of it."

The reason I like this new trailer so much is that it evokes the same feelings as "Nearer My God To Thee", a fan fic I read not long after the release of the ME3 teaser. [link] Very concise and emotional, cutting to the base of what ME3 is about, in a way.

Yeah I really enjoyed the emotion in the live-action trailer. People seem to be criticizing it - and neglecting the fact that it's a commercial for TV! It had a lot of emotion in it, I loved seeing... the personal level of the Reaper's destruction. The fear, the panic.

I read the manga. When I saw a user on the Roosterteeth ME3 forum (one of my few safe havens of sanity compared to the majority of the ME fanbase) remarking "MAKES NO SENSE! MAKES NO SENSE!" about the manga, I retorted "If it made sense, it wouldn't be a manga. Duh."

Am I wrong or not?

Personally I like the idea that the trailer is trying to get across and the message it sends... buuuuut the production values seem cheap and downright lazy. My guess is this was an EA push at the last minute rather than something Bioware put hard work into, I.E, the Take Back Earth CGI trailer, which I personally prefer for what my opinon is worth.

Ahah that comic has been circling tumblr for a while. It's so cute gahhh. It's really not supposed to be taken seriously at all, I dont know why people are so offended and angry at it. It's a comic.
Japanese fans are allowed to like ME too, and just like western fans they can pick fun at it as well. If you can't laugh at your own fandom then..that's just sad. People calm down.

Anyway~ The trailer was really nice! Very sad. ;A;

I must humbly say that the live action trailer really doesn't live up to the great live action trailers that the Halo franchise has churned out. I wish that they had put in more effort in it but if the money has all been channeled into making ME3 a great game then I won't complain about the trailer... I heard that there will be an anime movie about Mass Effect... Can anyone confirm that?

as a Mass Effect Fan i LOVE this, but as an American of Japanese decent i find this SO offensively Japanese. and yes, i read manga and watch anime and more then most of those only reinforce my opinion, the fact is the japanese are xenophobic(and no amount of "persuasion" will change that fact so please don't try) i also get it happens in the states as well but i have watched MANY U.S. cartoons(kids and adult) AND Japanese and the difference in "Diversity" (or lack there of in Japans case) is like a cosmic cock slap.
