Sure to be a downer to many readers, there will be no coverage on the Extended Cut DLC shown at this year's E3. As it stands, it simply isn't ready yet.

In response to some agitated posters on the BSN, Chris Priestly said:

"If the Extended Cut was ready to have an announcement on a date or similar the PR team would likely want to announce, However, since the Extended Cut is not yet ready to be announced, there is no date for E3. It is that simple."

Going on, in another post;

"The Extended Cut is being worked on. The team has been listening to what fans have asked for and are using suggestions to help create it. It is too soon to talk about it yet. I have seen some early work (no I will not give details) and what is being done is very good. When the product is ready to be discussed (as decided by the team making it), then there will be details, release dates, etc."

Although I haven't seen any official statement, I assume Bioware--and possibly Mass Effect-- will be featured at E3 to some degree.

And if not, there's always Halo 4, Dishonored, Skyrim: Dawnguard, and lots and lots of Kinect and Move games.

Lots. And lots. Of Kinect and Move games.

ME3 had a great story, and it had the chance to become " the Jedi's Return" of gaming industry. But the last 10 minutes literally destroyed everything. The ending didn't belong in the storyline. It didn't fit there. Bioware said that they knew many years ago how ME series would end, but I highly doubt the ending which we got in ME3 was supposed to be ending which the original writers had in their minds. Something just went horribly wrong. Meaby it was because of EA, meaby because of their budget, meaby they just ran out of time, or tried too hard to create something "original". Who knows, there can be so many reasons. The ending took away all my inspiration to play the game again. ME 1-2 will always stay in my heart as a greatest scifi games of all time.

And still, yes, I keep hoping there has to be something coming. We just need to wait.
